Students divide 3 and 4 digit dividends by both 1 digit and 2 digit divisors using the area model (array model) for division, with built-in scaffolding that addresses the two most common sticking points: choosing the right starting number to subtract from the dividend, and knowing which number goes above the rectangle as the partial quotient.
Cards come in four variations for each divisor set — with and without the first partial quotient given — so you can challenge and differentiate practice for every learner.
